12 Macrame Wedding Ideas

Dainty lace pieces and cream tones are making a HUGE comeback. It is the time of the macrame movement once again, ladies and gentlemen and you're all invited. Yup, even you gorgeous brides-to-be's. Macrame decor is the best and easiest way to transform your wedding venue into a boho wonderland. It's dainty, stylish, and you can pair it with practically everything!

Using macrame is a beautiful and budget-savvy way to stand out, so let’s check out some wedding ideas with Macrame.

Lucy Lanuza of Macrame Elegance thought of creating a huge wide macrame ceremony wedding backdrop that set the stage for the bride and groom's I Do's quite nicely.

The talented people over at Mosshound Designs made a simpler, thinner macrame backdrop for Vision Events who paired it with beautiful earthy greens and the freshest blooms and gave the bride the perfect vintage indoor wedding.

No one wants to get their hands dirty on the day of the wedding- especially not the bride. This bride got a little creative and made sure her bouquet was wrapped neatly- with macrame!

This bride ditched the traditional veil or tiara, and went full-boho by letting a macrame headdress adorn her crowning glory. It matched her beautiful white lace wedding dress perfectly.

Church weddings- but make it boho! This bride shot by Jo Greenfield chose to dress up their local church's aisles with flowers and dainty little macrame pieces that instantly gave the place a boho touch.

Why stop at the ceremony? Take macrame all the way to the reception! This bride used a macrame table runner by Sve Vasylieva of Okrasa Decor and cute little macrame placemats to adorn her reception's dark wooden tables. And don't you think those candles and votives were a great touch? (nudge nudge, wink wink! get 'em over at Rebel Villa)

Gotta make sure the man and woman of the hour sit in style! Miss Puff thought of using macrame decors for the bride and groom's dining chairs to make them stand out from the rest of the guests.

Dessert, anyone? The awesome people over at Junebug Weddings thought of a fun way to use macrame and woven plates to display your sweet treats and keep them safe from little ones who have had just too much sugar than their little bodies could take.

Since you're already hanging tons of desserts, give your wedding cake the same treatment as well with this gorgeous macrame hanging cake stand idea from Green Wedding Shoes.

Speaking of hanging things, why not add chandeliers and decorate your indoor wedding venue's ceilings? If you think that the usual gold ones just don't match with your garden or boho theme then lemme introduce you to macrame chandeliers! They're absolutely gorgeous and fill up the room quite nicely.

What's a wedding without a bit of booze! Take a note from Krystal and Alex, who classed-up their liquor table by using a macrame-covered boho-chic bar cart with vibrant florals all around.

When y'all run out of wine and energy, have your guests take a piece of your wedding home with them with these cute macrame keychains from HoWDesign. They're simple and unique, and guests of all ages can use them.
